Trading Rules

  • All items listed must be legal to sell in New Zealand
  • No counterfeit, stolen or replica goods
  • No weapons, drugs, alcohol or restricted items
  • Listings must accurately describe the item — no misleading photos or descriptions
  • Sellers must honour agreed prices and complete transactions in good faith
  • No price gouging or artificially inflated listings
  • Respect all buyers and sellers — harassment will result in account removal

Disclaimer

Vendo is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. By using Vendo you agree to the following:

  • Vendo is not responsible for scams between buyers and sellers. Always meet in a safe public place for local pickups.
  • Vendo does not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of items listed on the platform.
  • All disputes are between the buyer and seller directly. Vendo may assist but is under no obligation to resolve disputes.
  • Vendo reserves the right to remove any listing, suspend or ban any user at any time without notice.
  • Payments via Stripe are subject to Stripe's own terms and conditions.
  • Users must be 18 years or older to sell on Vendo.

Privacy Policy

We collect your name, email and location to operate the marketplace. We do not sell your data to third parties. Payment information is handled securely by Stripe and never stored on Vendo servers.

  • We use your email only to send transaction and account notifications
  • Your location is used only to show nearby listings
  • You can delete your account at any time by contacting support
  • We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020

Safe Trading Tips

  • Always meet in a safe, public place for local pickups (e.g. a shopping centre)
  • Never send payment before seeing the item in person for high-value goods
  • Use Vendo's messaging system — never move conversations off-platform
  • If something feels wrong, trust your instincts and report the listing
  • Check a seller's rating and reviews before buying
